For a while I tried seeing if I could hack my HP by editing the save files but failed (you can do it to a degree, but I was only able to increase my HP to just a bit over my regular max, and then it would drop back below my max from that point on.) How to find the save files These instructions are for Mac. Windows users, I think you have an equivalent directory in APPDATA or something like that? Thanks!) • Open Terminal (use spotlight to open it if you don't know how) • Type ls ~/Library/Application Support/com.tobyfox.undertale/ (this means 'list the files in this directory') • You should see a file called file0. This is your 'current' save file – you'll see other ones lying around too if you've played through multiple times.

There's also a copy of whatever file0's game is (for me, after the, the copy was called file9), I dunno why the game makes an extra copy of it but it does.
